1) Moeen Ali
JSK should have ideally looked at the future before securing the services of Moeen Ali for this season. However, nevertheless, it appears that Moeen Ali‘s journey at JSK might be over. He was under-whelming and JSK would have expected better from their overseas all-rounder. Someone like Michael Bracewell, if available, could be a fine addition to the side next season.
2) Maheesh Theekshana might be released by Joburg Super Kings before SA20 2026
Theekshana is one of the players Joburg Super Kings might release before SA20 2026. The Sri Lankan off-spinner was not at his best in the recent edition. Therefore, JSK might have to look at other alternatives for this role in the next campaign. Someone who can offer a mystery spin will be ideal for the side.
3) David Wiese
The veteran did not do great with the bat but he was okay with the ball. However, for the future, he may not be ideal for the side. A younger all-rounder, who offers more consistency, could be a need for the side. Therefore, the franchise can make these changes before the next season.
