LSG struggled in IPL 2025. Although they started well, the Rishabh Pant-led side faltered later on. Here, we take a look at the list of three players LSG must target in the IPL 2026 Trade Window.
There are quite a few gaps which LSG must fix in the auctions. It may not be able to address all of them. Hence, the management must make use of the trade window in this regard.
1) Ramandeep Singh
LSG might need more strength in the finishing department. All their premier batters operate in the top and the middle order. Hence, someone like Ramandeep Singh, with his power-hitting, can be a nice addition to the squad.
2) Gerald Coetzee is one of the players LSG must target in the IPL 2026 Trade Window
GT hardly used Coetzee last season despite the absence of Kagiso Rabada. On the other hand, LSG did not have foreign pace options. Coetzee can fill the gap here. LSG would also have a good overseas pacer in the ranks along with Shamar Joseph.
3) Donovan Ferreira
It will be an ambitious move, but LSG must try this. David Miller did not work in LSG’s combination. Hence, the franchise will need a fresh finisher to help the likes of Ayush Badoni. The South African cricketer is in good form and hence, he would be a good fit for the side.
