IPL 2025 Mega Auction will happen after the 2024 season ends. The BCCI has confirmed the return of the mega auction for the next edition of the league. One team, which would be desperately waiting for the mega auction, is Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The Orange Army has not qualified for the playoffs even once since the last mega auction. Many fans were confused when they retained Kane Williamson, Abdul Samad and Umran Malik for total 22 crore. Williamson has already left the team.

1. SRH should retain Pat Cummins before IPL 2025 Mega Auction
Sunrisers Hyderabad went all out for Australian captain Pat Cummins at this year’s auction and splurged INR 20.5 crore to acquire his services. Cummins has two ICC trophies in short tenure as Australia captain. Hence, SRH should try to form a long association with him and retain him for the next season.
2. Travis Head
Travis Head is another player, who knows how to up his game when it matters the most. SRH have not won the championship in last eight years. If that thing changes in 2024, Head might play a big role. Thus, he should be a part of the retentions next season.
3. Bhuvneshwar Kumar
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been the lead pacer for Sunrisers Hyderabad since 2014. Many players have come and gone in SRH, but Kumar continues to be a top performer. He should receive a great contract ahead of the mega auction next year.
