BCCI announced the Indian squad for the upcoming tour of England. Quite a few surprises were there as the squad was going through a transition. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three players unlucky to miss out on the Indian squad for the England Tour.

1) Mohammed Shami
It seems that his fitness was one of the main reasons for Shami’s exclusion from the squad. However, for the player, it is a bit unfortunate because he has been one of India’s best Test pacers in the current generation. With this move, it would be hard for Shami to make a comeback to the Indian side.
2) Shreyas Iyer is unlucky to miss out on the Indian squad for the England Tour
Shreyas Iyer is high on confidence. He is also doing well at the domestic level. Considering India needs experience, many felt that Shreyas would get a chance. However, that was not to be. Shreyas is a player who can win games single-handedly. Considering the selectors named quite a few new faces, Shreyas could have been considered.
3) Sarfaraz Khan
Sarfaraz Khan did not get a single game in Australia and now, he has been dropped. It is very unlucky for the player who has scored a lot of runs at the domestic level. It is unfair to drop him without giving a single chance in the SENA nations.
