CSK had a rather unconventional strategy in the IPL 2026 Auctions. Some of their fans were not happy with this tactic. Here, we take a look at the list of three players whom CSK bid for and should have signed for IPL 2026.
CSK has a young squad for the upcoming season. For some of the key roles, they could have got some experienced names to have a chance at the trophy.
1) Ravi Bishnoi
Instead of Rahul Chahar, Ravi would have been a better fit for the side. He has experience in the IPL and would have forged a fine combination with Noor Ahmed. On the other hand, it has been a while since Rahul has done well in the IPL. CSK also spent a lot of money on Rahul.
2) Jack Edwards is one of the players whom CSK bid for and should have signed for IPL 2026
Jack Edwards would have been a nice fit at CSK. He is a profile that would have balanced the side and added the power that they desperately need in the side.
3) Cameron Green
Yes, Green would not have fit in the CSK top-order. However, at least at No.6, he is a better choice than the options that CSK has at the moment. Moreover, Green is a top talent and would have been one for the future. Not to mention, his bowling would have given balance to the side.
