    Parthiv Patel

    The 37-year-old Parthiv Patel has been one of the most underrated players in Indian cricket. Parthiv played a total of 139 matches for various franchises across all IPL editions. He is one of the few players to have represented a total of seven teams in the Indian Premier League.

    Parthiv Patel got the opportunity to captain his team for the first time during the fourth season of IPL. He led Kochi Tuskers Kerala against Chennai Super Kings at the Chepauk Stadium after regular captain Mahela Jayawardene returned to Sri Lanka mid-season.

    Dwayne Bravo

    West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has been an IPL regular for almost a decade now. He has taken 183 wickets at an economy rate of 8.38 in a total of 161 matches played in his IPL career. Apart from this, he has also performed brilliantly with the bat, scoring 1560 runs at a strike rate of around 130.

    Bravo started his IPL career with Mumbai Indians in 2008 and was bought by Chennai Super Kings in 2011. But he got a chance to lead the Mumbai Indians once during his days there. In the 2010 IPL season, he led the Indians in the only match, however, the team faced a defeat.

    Ross Taylor

    One of the best Kiwi batsmen of all time, Ross Taylor has had a nothing special IPL career. He has scored 1017 runs in 55 IPL matches at an average of 25. He was a part of Royal Challengers Bangalore from IPL season 2008 to 2010 and moved to Rajasthan Royals in 2011.

    After this he also played for Delhi Daredevils and then Pune Warriors India. Ross Taylor played his last IPL season in 2014. During the 2013 IPL season, he got a chance to captain the Pune Warriors India in a match. Although Taylor scored only eight runs in the match, Pune Warriors won by 24 runs, defeating the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings.
