A few players, who have had a rough run in IPL 2025, could be available for CSK. At Chepauk, some of these players would be great additions to the side. We talk about three of them in the article below.

1) Glenn Maxwell
It will be a big risk. However, if CSK wants to take a punt, they can do that on Maxi. He is likely to be available at around his base price. CSK is likely to release R Ashwin and hence, the franchise will need a right-arm off-spin option. Therefore, someone like Maxi could add value to the setup.
2) Liam Livingstone is one of the poor performers in IPL 2025
CSK lacks a power-hitter in the middle order. While Dewald Brevis helps the case, another choice will be important for the side. In this regard, Liam Livingstone can be excellent for the franchise. If given a clear role, he can be a solid option for CSK.
3) Quinton de Kock
QDK has not had a poor season exactly. Nevertheless, he could be released by KKR. If that is so, CSK can target the veteran as the wicket-keeping opener. It would solve a lot of issues for the side, especially if QDK comes good in yellow.
