SRH has been in poor form in IPL 2025. Recruitment was an issue. Here, we take a look at the list of three poor performers in IPL 2025 who could be a target for SRH.
SRH could benefit from some of the other poor performers in IPL 2025. The franchise can target these players for the next season and help them gain their form back.
Note: This list is comprised assuming these players would be released by their respective franchises.
1) Venkatesh Iyer
The No.3 role has been a problem for SRH. At KKR, Venkatesh Iyer is not getting his preferred slot. If KKR decides to release Iyer, SRH can target him to replace Ishan Kishan. It would be a more natural position for Venky to make an impact.
2) Liam Livingstone is one of the poor performers in the IPL
It is clear that SRH needs a proper overseas batter below Heinrich Klaasen. For the combination and the philosophy of the side, this would be a better fit. In this regard, Livingstone will be ideal for the franchise. He is also someone who can give a few overs with the ball. Therefore, the current RCB cricketer is on this list.
3) Marcus Stoinis
Stoinis has been inconsistent in IPL 2025. Hence, he has been in and out of the Punjab Kings playing XI. That said, just like with Liam, Stoinis will also be a good fit for SRH in the lower middle-order. Hence, he is on this list.
