Every year, a few players have a poor outing, and they are then made to leave the IPL. It could happen again before the next season. Here, we take a look at the list of three poor performers in IPL 2025 who could go unsold before IPL 2026.
Teams are now very particular about giving the extra rope to a few players. In this regard, a few may not get a chance for the next season of the Indian Premier League.
1) Glenn Maxwell
It is two straight poor outings for Maxi in the IPL. Hence, it could be curtains for his IPL career. Unless some other team needs him as a backup, there is very little chance that the Aussie gets a chance again in the IPL.
2) Moeen Ali could go unsold before IPL 2026
KKR placed a lot of trust in Moeen Ali. However, the English player could not deliver for them. He leaked a lot of runs, and he could not score many of them. Considering his age, the all-rounder might not find another bidder for the next season.
3) Deepak Hooda
IPL 2025 was a forgettable outing for Deepak Hooda. He did get a lot of games to prove his potential. However, he looked rusty and the confidence was not there in him. Now, with so many youngsters coming through, it would be hard for Deepak to make a comeback. He needs to have an excellent domestic season for teams to show interest in him.
