Also called the Player Movement Window, a lot of transfers happen between Big Bash League seasons. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three popular cricketers who were involved in the BBL 2025/26 Transfer Window.
Some popular players have made a move ahead of the next season. For some, it is important that they find their feet in their new teams.
1) Jason Behrendorff
The pacer has left the Perth Scorchers to join the Melbourne Renegades. Jason Behrendorff was one of the best bowlers of last season. He finished as one of the highest wicket-takers. Considering this, it isn’t easy to imagine that Perth allowed him to take a new challenge at Melbourne. However, for the Cameron White-coached side, it is a big coup to have a leading pacer like Jason in the team.
2) Jason Sangha was involved in the BBL 2025/26 Transfer Window
Jason has shifted from the Sydney Thunder to the Adelaide Strikers. Jason Sangha is a good batter in the BBL. While he has not been able to take the steps upwards like his sibling, at the domestic level, he is a reliable cricketer. He is at a crucial stage of his career, and now, he has made an interesting move in the BBL.
3) Beau Webster
The tall man has made the move from the Melbourne Stars to the Hobart Hurricanes. Webster has been a find for Australia in Tests in the recent months. He has managed to replace Mitchell Marsh, and despite Cameron Green returning, Webster still holds his place. Now, he would want to take his career to the next level, and that could involve a better run in the T20 format. The all-rounder has made an interesting move, and it will be a subplot later this year to see how he performs.
