RCB has a very lean squad for the upcoming season of IPL. Here, we take a look at the list of three RCB players who might not play a single game in IPL 2025.
If you take a look at RCB’s squad, the management has no choice but to back a few players. This means that a few cricketers could be on the bench for the whole campaign.
1) Mohit Rathee
The leg-spinning all-rounder may not be a part of the playing 11 for RCB. The key spinners for RCB will be Krunal Pandya and Suyash Sharma. If Suyash does not do well, RCB might play an extra pacer, as this could help in the squad’s balance better. Therefore, Mohit is on the list.
2) Lungi Ngidi is one of the RCB players who might not play a single game in IPL 2025
Lungi Ngidi’s strengths do not suit the Chinnaswamy Stadium. It is not clear why the franchise signed the cricketer. Josh Hazlewood and Nuwan Thushara will be the overseas pacers for RCB. The squad has three good Indian pacers, as well. It will be better for RCB to revolve around these cricketers. Romario Shephard could also be used, and he comes in with batting value.
3) Abhinandan Singh
The Uttar Pradesh cricketer is a good pacer, but RCB will be needing him as an injury backup. The franchise will want Bhuvi, Yash and Rasikh Dar to play all 14 games of the season.
