SRH had a poor run in IPL 2025. They have made some bold decisions before the auctions. Here, we take a look at the list of three released players SRH can target in the upcoming IPL 2026 Auctions.
SRH has a decent purse to aim at a few targets. They have some big holes in the pace and the spin department. They could concentrate more here.
1) Liam Livingstone
The lower middle-order was not great last season for SRH. Aniket Verma did well, but he is an uncapped player. Therefore, someone like Livi could add solidity and also bring in value with his spin bowling.
2) Ravi Bishnoi is one of the released players SRH can target in IPL 2026 Auctions
Having released both Rahul Chahar and Adam Zampa, SRH will surely target a premium spinner. They have Zeeshan Ansari but he is inexperienced. SRH could afford to go big for Ravi Bishnoi as he will be an instant upgrade to the spot.
3) Akash Deep
With Shami traded, SRH might need a new-ball bowler. However, there are not many options in the market. In this regard, someone like Akash makes sense for the franchise. He can make an impact in the powerplay and he can also hit the deck in certain venues.
