Mumbai Indians have a purse of less than INR 3 Cr for IPL 2026 Auctions. Here, we take a look at the list of three released players whom MI can target for a cheap price at the IPL 2026 Auctions.
MI has a strong core, and they only need to focus on a few backups. There are a lot of injury-prone cricketers in the side, and hence, this is important for them.
1) Luvnith Sisodia
With KL Shrijith released, MI might need another domestic wicket-keeper for the squad. Luvnith could be a good choice as he has the reputation of being a big-hitter. He might be available at a cheap fee, and hence, Luvnith is an option here.
2) Rachin Ravindra is one of the released players whom MI can target for a cheap price at IPL 2026 Auctions
Rachin had a poor run in IPL 2025, and it seems he is yet to crack the T20 format. Teams now have less patience and hence, not many could invest in the Kiwi. Therefore, it is a good choice for MI to get him on the squad and use as a backup option.
3) Quinton de Kock
Considering his form last season, not many teams could look for QDK. Anyway, most teams have a settled opening combination. However, for MI, Ryan Rickelton may not be a confirmed option at the top of the order. QDK has been a serial-winner at MI, and he could be a good choice to come back in the squad.
