Retired cricketers could sometimes offer more due to their experience and the fact that they could be available because of no other commitments. Hence, some teams plan to hire such players.
1) David Warner
Warner is now an active freelance cricketer in various T20 leagues. He is one of the best T20 batters that the format has seen. Considering it is a tournament in his home nation, he is rated highly. 2) Colin Munro is one of the retired cricketers who are confirmed to play in BBL 2025/26
