Hanuma Vihari lashed out at the Andhra Pradesh Cricket Association after his team lost the quarterfinals in the Ranji Trophy 2024. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three state associations that must target Hanuma Vihari for the next season.
In his statement, Vihari said that he would never play for Andhra Pradesh again. If he is available in the market for the next season, there are few teams that would want to sign him.
1) Jharkhand State Cricket Association
After the retirement of Saurabh Tiwary, the team is in need of some experience in the batting order. The team also needs a captaincy option. To do further well in the upcoming season, JSCA can target a player like Hanuma Vihari. He is talented and could do wonders for the side.
2) Vidarbha Cricket Association must target Hanuma Vihari
Vidarbha Cricket Association is one of the state associations that must target Hanuma Vihari for the next season. Recently, the association signed Karun Nair. Now that Faiz Fazal has retired, the team needs experience in the setup. Hanuma Vihari would be a brilliant option to add to the franchise. With Vihari in the side, the VCA batting line-up would become stronger.
3) Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association
Before this season started, there were reports that Vihari would move to Madhya Pradesh. However, that did not happen. It seems that Vihari already has some links established with the MPCA officials. Chandrakant Pandit is a superb coach and under him, Vihari could also target a comeback to the Indian Team.
