A few loopholes are there in the RCB setup. There are resources, though, for the management to find the right balance and make the team win more matches.
1) Play Liam Livingstone at No.6
Liam Livingstone is in poor form in IPL 2025. However, the management might give him a few more games to find form. One way to get the best out of him could be to ask him to play at No.6. Liam struggles against spin and RCB cannot afford his failures often. Therefore, Jitesh could play ahead of him in the batting order.
2) Asking Virat Kohli to stay until the 12th over is one of the tactical changes RCB must make
Whenever Virat Kohli falls early, RCB fails with the bat. With the high intent approach by RCB, it is necessary that there is a constant at the crease. This way, the other batters can have more freedom, and the team may not have a collapse. Therefore, the management must ensure that VK stays longer at the crease.
3) Open the bowling with Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar
Now, RCB starts the bowling with Bhuvi and Yash Dayal. While both have been good, the best of Josh is not being exploited by RCB. Also, Josh can be a bit expensive in the middle overs. Therefore, it is best if Bhuvi and Josh take the new ball. Yash Dayal has the variations to do well in the other phases of the game.
