CSK, though, now has a great chance to woo some of the fans again with good local signings. There are players who fit the requirements of the franchise at this point in time.
1) Shahrukh Khan
It was a surprise that Punjab Kings released Shahrukh Khan back to the auctions. He is a brute hitter of the ball, an attribute that is not found in many Indian batters. Moreover, in recent times, he has upped his game with the ball. Now, CSK would have a great chance to sign him, especially with the purse they have. He is likely to be the first option for the side as the replacement for Ambati Rayudu.
2) G Ajitesh
G Ajitesh is one of the Tamil Nadu players whom CSK could target in IPL 2024 Auctions. One of the exciting batters in Tamil Nadu is G Ajitesh. Although he started his career at the top of the order, he has also had success playing in the lower middle-order. He is known for his gigantic sixes. Plus, he is a great wicket-keeper. Considering MS Dhoni’s future in mind, as well, Ajitesh would be a key signing for CSK.
3) M Mohammed
As per reports, M Mohammed was called up for the recent CSK trials. He is a bowling all-rounder and was a part of the recent Syed Mushtaq Ali Squad for Tamil Nadu. While he is a frontline pacer, with the bat, he can hit some huge hits. Such players will be of great use in the current CSK line-up.
