IPL 2025 was concluded recently. RCB lifted the trophy for the first time ever. Here, in this article, we take a look at the list of three teams which could change their Head Coaches for IPL 2026.
A few teams would be reviewing the performances of their Head Coach with high scrutiny. Some of them had an ordinary campaign and could be out of the franchise.
1) Kolkata Knight Riders
Chandrakant Pandit has not been able to add value to KKR since his appointment. Yes, he won the league, but KKR would have liked Mr Pandit to discover more domestic cricketers and install them in the side. However, that has not happened and KKR could now look at a modern T20 coach.
2) Lucknow Super Giants is one of the teams which could change their Head Coaches for IPL 2026
Since Justin Langer has arrived at LSG, the franchise has not made it to the playoffs. It could be time for the management to try someone fresh. Also, Langer’s tactics at the auction were poor and were one of the main reasons why the franchise did not do well.
3) Delhi Capitals
Hemang Badani started well and then lost his way as a coach. Even after the end of the campaign, he could not have a settled batting line-up. If someone more capable is available on the market, DC might relieve Badani.
