RCB might release Liam Livingstone. While they have a similar player in Romario Shephard, Russell is a clear upgrade. He is also someone who can play at No.5 or No.6, which Romario cannot. Moreover, with the ball, too, Russell is more experienced.
2) Chennai Super Kings is one of the teams which could target Andre Russell if he is released by KKR
It is clear that CSK needs a good finisher. They can also afford a foreign player for this role. If someone like Russell is available, CSK might be willing to spend all their funds on him. He can improve the balance of the side and also add that firepower, which CSK lacks in the finishing department.
3) Gujarat Titans
GT needs more experience in the finishing department. A pace-bowling all-rounder will also help the balance of the side and hence, they can target him.
