David Miller had a tough run in IPL 2025. He is likely to be released. Here, we take a look at the list of three teams which could target David Miller if he is released by LSG before IPL 2026.
The combination at LSG did not need a player like David Miller. Hence, this partnership was never going to work. However, Miller will still have suitors before the next season.
1) Gujarat Titans
GT had Sherfane Rutherford, who actually did a decent job. However, someone of Miller’s experience will add value to the team. The South African cricketer has been in the franchise for three years before. Hence, this could work well for the side.
2) Rajasthan Royals is one of the teams which could target David Miller if he is released by LSG
RR has a strong relationship with Miller, who leads the side in the SA20 League. Shimron Hetmyer was poor last season and it won’t be a surprise if he is released. In this regard, having Miller take up the role makes sense. His experience could help RR finish the chases which they could not last season.
3) Delhi Capitals
KL Rahul has moved up the order. Hence, the franchise needs some experience in the middle order. Therefore, Miller would be a good pick for the side. The pitch at Delhi could also help Miller rediscover his form in the IPL.
