1) Kolkata Knight Riders
KKR needs a foreign pacer to balance the unit. They like players with mystery elements, and hence, they would surely be interested in someone like Pathirana. With a lot of cash in hand, they could get him if they want him.
2) Sunrisers Hyderabad could target Matheesha Pathirana in IPL 2026 Auctions
SRH is one of the teams that struggled with their bowling last season. Now that they have released Mohammed Shami, they have the money to get a big signing in the pace department. Pathirana and Pat Cummins could play in tandem because Travis Head and Klaasen would occupy the other slots.
3) Rajasthan Royals
