DC has quite a few gaps, and they could go in the direction of uncapped players to add depth to the squad. There are quite a few players in whom they can invest.
1) Kamlesh Nagarkoti
Kamlesh might not be a proven material in the IPL. However, he has a lot of skills and if given a proper run, he can come good. At the domestic level, he has already gained decent experience, and hence, he would be a fine investment for the side.
2) Mahipal Lomror is one of the uncapped players Delhi Capitals can target for IPL 2026
While DC already has Nitish Rana now, Lomror can be a backup in this regard. Middle-order, especially on the domestic front, is one of the problems for DC. Hence, adding Lomror to the reserves could help the franchise when they run out of options.
3) R Sonu Yadav
It is inevitable that DC improves its fast-bowling stocks. Sonu might not be a leader in the pace department but he is a good T20 cricketer. He adds value with the bat, as well. Therefore, he is on this list.
