KKR will look to get a few good players at a high price. However, to improve the depth and the future of the squad, they can look for some of the uncapped names.
1) Mahipal Lomror
If KKR cannot get back Venkatesh Iyer, Lomror can be a decent replacement. He adds value with his spin-hitting and can come in as an impact player if some early wickets fall.
2) Karthik Sharma is one of the uncapped players KKR can target for IPL 2026
Karthik Sharma is a talented six-hitter, and there is a chance that he could go for a lot of money. He can operate in the middle-order and since he is a wicket-keeper, as well, KKR might want to get him on the side. He adds the perfect balance, which could allow KKR to open with a genuine opener at the top and not just a keeper-opener.
3) Akash Madhwal
KKR is reliant on young Indian pacers and someone like Akash could be an option to solve their bowling issues at the death. Matheesha Pathirana could also be a choice for the side.
