Barbados Royals are one of the six teams participating in the ongoing Caribbean Premier League tournament in the West Indies. It is the number one T20 league of the West Indies, with several top players from the world playing the tournament.
As the name suggests, the Barbados Royals team is the sister franchise of IPL team, Rajasthan Royals. Initially, this name was known as the Barbados Tridents, but the Rajasthan-based team bought this franchise and extended their family to the West Indies.
