Cricket jerseys always draw the attention of fans from across the world. Every team has its unique jersey. Fans witnessed a couple of new jerseys in IPL this year as the Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants made their respective debuts in new threads.
Fans loved the color combination and design of GT’s jersey, while the reception of the LSG jersey was not the best. MPL Sports has now created a lot of hype about the T20 World Cup 2022 jersey for the Indian team. The retro kit and the Billion Cheers kit lasted a year each.
However, in this article today, we will look at four cricket jerseys which were rarely seen.
1. India’s tricolor cricket jersey

Just before the ICC T20 World Cup in 2012, Nike launched a new tricolor jersey of the Indian cricket team. It had the tricolor pattern on it. A majority of the jersey was blue, but on one shoulder, the Indian tricolor was present. For some reason, the plans were changed, and India switched back to their 2011 World Cup jersey for the ICC T20 World Cup 2012.

Sri Lanka generally wear purple- and yellow-colored jerseys. However, for the 2007 T20 World Cup, the islanders donned the white and yellow colors. Not many fans liked that jersey.
3. RCB’s blue kit

To pay tribute to the frontline workers of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Royal Challengers Bangalore decided to wear a special blue kit in their first match of the second phase of IPL 2021. Unfortunately, they suffered a big defeat in that match against Kolkata Knight Riders.
4. Delhi Daredevils’ lavender kit

Delhi Daredevils donned a special lavender jersey for their IPL 2015 league stage match against the Punjab Kings. They won that match by nine wickets. DD sported that jersey to spread awareness about cancer.
