1. Bas de Leede and Tim de Leede, Netherlands
The first pair on this list is Netherlands all-rounder Bas de Leede and his father Tim de Leede. Bas played his first World Cup match against Pakistan. He took a four wicket haul. His father Tim de Leede played in the ODI World Cup in 2003, 2007 and also 1996, where he scored 223 runs and took 14 wickets, including a four wicket haul against India in 2003.
2. Sam Curran and Kevin Curran, England and Zimbabwe
Current England all-rounder Sam Curran has made a name for himself with his left arm pace and batting skills. His father Kevin Curran was also a cricketer. However Kevin did not play for England but for Zimbabwe. He represented Zimbabwe in 1983 and 1987 World Cup, scoring 287 runs.
3. Tom Latham and Rod Latham, New Zealand
Tom Latham is currently the vice captain of the New Zealand cricket team. He captained New Zealand in their first match of 2023 ODI World Cup against England, where New Zealand recorded a convincing victory. Not many fans would know that Tom‘s father Rod Latham was also a cricketer. He played for New Zealand in the 1992 ICC World Cup.
4. Stuart Broad and Chris Broad, England
Stuart Broad is a former England cricketer. He played for England in the 2007, 2011 and 2015 World Cup. His father Chris, who works as a match referee now, played for England in three matches after 1987 ICC World Cup.
