Since it is the first edition of the CSA T20 League, Delhi Capitals may think about attracting their Indian fanbase by asking one of their former players to play in South Africa later this year. Here’s a list of four former Indian DC players who could play for Pretoria Capitals.

    1. Former DC opener Unmukt Chand

Former India U-19 opener Unmukt Chand has moved to the USA. He received a contract from Delhi in IPL after leading India U-19s to the ICC U-19 World Cup 2012 title. Since he is a popular name, Chand could turn up for Pretoria Capitals.

    3. Yuvraj Singh

Even after retirement, Yuvraj Singh has shown that he can still destroy the bowlers with his top-quality performances in Global T20 League Canada, Road Safety World Series and Abu Dhabi T10 League. Singh has much experience of playing in South Africa, and Delhi Capitals can take advantage of it.

    4. Laxmi Ratan Shukla

Former Indian all-rounder Laxmi Ratan Shukla is a part of the 50 players announced for the upcoming Legends League T20 tournament. Just like Ashok Dinda, if former Delhi player Laxmi Shukla has a memorable LLC T20 tournament, DC may think about signing him for Pretoria Capitals. Some other names who could be considered as well are Irfan Pathan, Naman Ojha and Venugopal Rao.
