KKR has been home to quite a few top Australian cricketers in the past. A few of them are now playing in various other T20 leagues. Here, we take a look at the list of four former KKR cricketers who are playing for Australia in the World Championship of Legends 2025.
Nowadays, even after retirement, players get a chance to continue playing for leagues meant for retired players. Some of these leagues are followed passionately by quite a lot of fans. For fans, getting a glimpse of their favourite players after retirement means a lot.
1) Brett Lee
Brett Lee is the captain of Australia in WCL2. He was a fine player for Australia, and he enjoyed a good stint at KKR, as well. In the beginning of IPL, Lee played for the Kings XI Punjab. He later shifted to KKR and was the leader of the pace attack for a while.
2) Chris Lynn is playing in the World Championship of Legends 2025
Chris Lynn enjoyed a fine part of his career at KKR. It was also at this time that he was doing well for Australia. After his KKR stint, Lynn lost his way in his career and hardly played IPL again.
3) Moises Henriques
The veteran all-rounder played for KKR in 2009. It was the beginning of his IPL career for the Aussie, as well. Later, he played for teams such as RCB and SRH. However, despite being an excellent player in the BBL, Moises never became a regular in the IPL. He lost his spot in the Australian Team, as well.
4) Nathan Coulter-Nile is playing for Australia in the World Championship of Legends 2025
In 2017, NCN was a part of the KKR squad. However, he did not get too many games. Later, he was hired by teams such as MI and RCB but the fine T20 bowler could never make an impact in the IPL. Injuries did not let him express himself in the league. He later lost his space in the Australian setup, as well.
