USA T20 WC 2024 squad has been announced. Gujarat-born cricketer Monank Patel is all set to lead the American team in the first-ever ICC T20 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by USA and West Indies. There are some other well-known players in the squad as well.
The biggest name in the USA T20 WC 2024 squad is Corey Anderson, who is famous for his incredible 95-run knock in the IPL 2014 match for Mumbai Indians against Rajasthan Royals. Here is the complete USA squad:

Some other high-profile names who moved to USA for better opportunities have missed out. Here’s a list of four such names.
1. Unmukt Chand was ignored for USA T20 WC 2024 squad
Former India U-19 captain Unmukt Chand stunned everyone with his decision to leave the Indian cricket circles for USA. He started playing in leagues as well, but Chand did not get picked for the mega event.
2. Bipul Sharma was ignored for USA T20 WC 2024 squad
All-rounder Bipul Sharma was the hero for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2016 win against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the final. He moved to USA as well but didn’t get picked.
3. Juan Theron
Former South African speedster Juan Theron has been residing in the USA for quite some time now. He has even played for USA team, but the selectors did not name him in the squad.
4. Siddharth Trivedi
Former Indian medium pacer Siddharth Trivedi continues to be the top wicket-taker for Rajasthan Royals to date. However, Trivedi has not been selected to play in the T20 WC this year despite moving to the USA.
