IPL is one of the biggest tournaments in the world, and almost every cricket fan wants to see the matches of this league live at their own home stadiums. The 10 teams have their pre-decided bases where they play their home matches in the league.

For example, the home ground of Chennai Super Kings is MA Chidambaram Stadium, Gujarat Titans play their home matches at Narendra Modi Stadium, Lucknow Super Giants’ home venue is Bharat Ratna Shree Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium and so on.

However, due to some reasons, the teams have been forced to shift their matches to alternative venues in the past. They switched to some common venues as backups. Here’s a look at the four Indian stadiums that have been home to more than two franchises.
