International League T20 season two will start soon. It is the premier T20 league of the United Arab Emirates, with big names from across the world participating in the tournament. Six teams, namely Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, MI Emirates, Dubai Capitals, Desert Vipers, Gulf Giants and Sharjah Warriors participating in ILT20 2024.
In the inaugural edition of the league, there were no Pakistani cricketers. However, in season two, fans will witness four Pakistani cricketers. The following four Pakistani cricketers will be in action during the ILT20 2024.
1. Shaheen Afridi will play in International League T20
Pakistan’s T20I captain Shaheen Afridi is the biggest name of his country to participate in the competition. The left-arm fast bowler will be in action playing for the Desert Vipers team in this competition.
2. Shadab Khan will play in International League T20
Pakistan’s former vice-captain in T20Is, Shadab Khan will also be in action for the Desert Vipers team. The right-arm leg-spinner is one of the top all-rounders of Pakistan. Khan also has enormous experience of playing cricket in the UAE, which will benefit his franchise.
3. Imad Wasim
Former Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim is all set to represent the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders team in the International League this year. Wasim has joined the Shah Rukh Khan-owned franchise as a last-minute replacement in UAE’s league.
4. Azam Khan
Hard-hitting wicketkeeper batter Azam Khan is also a member of the Desert Vipers team. The wicketkeeper batter has been in demand in T20 leagues. He will be keen to impress the fans with his performances in the International League now.
