    CSK and MI are two of the most successful teams in the Indian Premier League history. Several big names of world cricket have represented the Chennai Super Kings and the Mumbai Indians in the league. Now, the two franchises have decided to extend their group of teams.

    Chennai Super Kings bought a team in the new CSA T20 League, which will likely be known as Joburg Super Kings. Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians have bought one team each in CSA T20 League and UAE T20 League. They will be known as MI Cape Town and MI Emirates.

    The first five signings of MI Cape Town and full squad of MI Emirates has been released. Some former and current Chennai Super Kings stars are a part of the team. Here’s a list of the four names.

    1. CSK all-rounder Dwayne Bravo will play for MI Emirates

    Many fans expected Dwayne Bravo to play for the Joburg Super Kings, but the former West Indies team captain has signed a deal with Mumbai Indians. He will don the MI Emirates jersey in the upcoming UAE T20 League.

    2. Sam Curran will play for MI Cape Town

    English all-rounder Sam Curran played for CSK in IPL 2020 and 2021. He missed IPL 2022 because of injury, but he has made his comeback to the cricket field. In CSA T20 League 2022, he will represent the MI Cape Town team.

    3. Fazalhaq Farooqi

    Fazalhaq Farooqi from Afghanistan was a net bowler for the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. He made his IPL debut for the SunRisers Hyderabad this year. While SRH owns a franchise in the CSA T20 League, he has joined with MI Emirates for the UAE T20 League.

    4. Imran Tahir

    Imran Tahir won IPL 2019 Purple Cap while playing for CSK. However, he did not get enough chances to play after that season. Tahir has now joined MI Emirates for the UAE T20 League.
