1. Rahmanullah Gurbaz won IPL 2022
Afghanistan’s rising star Rahmanullah Gurbaz made his debut in the league in the year 2023 for the Kolkata Knight Riders. Before that, the wicket-keeper batter was with the Gujarat Titans, a team with whom he won the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League.
2. Noor Ahmad won IPL 2022
Another Afghanistan player who accomplished the feat like Rahmanullah Gurbaz is their left-arm wrist-spinner Noor Ahmad. Like Gurbaz, Noor won the title with GT last year. He made his debut for Gujarat Titans this year.
3. Sanju Samson
Not many fans would know that Sanju Samson was a member of the Kolkata Knight Riders squad that won the league in the year 2012. Samson moved to the Rajasthan Royals in the year 2013 and then made his debut for RR.
4. Nicholas Pooran
Nicholas Pooran was a member of the Mumbai Indians squad that won the championship in the year 2017. The West Indies wicket-keeper did not play any matches in that season. He made his debut as a part of the Punjab Kings team in the year 2019.
