    RCB has assembled dream pairings in the IPL history. Big names like Dale Steyn, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle, Daniel Vettori and several others have played for this franchise. Some players achieved a lot of success while playing for Bangalore. However, their career graphs witnessed a downward trend after left RCB. Here’s a list of four such players:

    1. Devdutt Padikkal left RCB after IPL 2021

    Royal Challengers Bangalore did not retain Devdutt Padikkal ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction. He moved to Rajasthan Royals. Padikkal played as an opener for RCB, but RR have used him in the middle-order. The left-handed batter has not been comfortable in his new role.

    2. Ross Taylor left RCB after IPL 2010

    Former New Zealand captain Ross Taylor was one of the top finishers for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the initial IPL seasons. He moved to Delhi Daredevils, Rajasthan Royals and Pune Warriors, playing for them from 2011 to 2014. However, he did not achieve success with any of the teams. Even Taylor himself admitted that his career would have been longer had he never been released by RCB.

    Kedar Jadhav had the best season of IPL career in 2017 while playing for Bangalore. The right-handed batter scored 250+ runs. In 2018, he moved to CSK and could not perform consistently. His strike rate sunk below 100 as well in 2019 and 2020.

    4. Mark Boucher

    Current Mumbai Indians head coach Mark Boucher was once a RCB player. Boucher scored 388 runs in 21 innings for RCB, with his average being around 30. He moved to KKR in 2011, where he played four matches and scored six runs.
