1) MS Dhoni – Shaik Rasheed
MS Dhoni might retire after IPL 2024. While CSK has a few options for who could replace him as a skipper, there are not many choices available to replace him as a finisher and a keeper. At least as a keeper, Shaik Rasheed can be one of the options whom the franchise can consider. He is surely talented to take his game to the next level.
2) Ravindra Jadeja – Nishant Sindhu might be groomed in IPL 2024
Ravindra Jadeja is one of the stars whose future replacements might be groomed in IPL 2024. Jaddu has quite a few years left in his IPL career but he is prone to injuries and CSK would want a ready backup available. Hence, they could focus on grooming Nishant Sindhu, who could make his debut in IPL 2024.
3) Wriddhiman Saha – Robin Minz
Wriddhiman Saha has done well for Gujarat Titans for the last two seasons. However, GT might look ahead in IPL 2024. Robin Minz is a promising cricketer and could become the next wicket-keeper for the team. He is a left-hander and would give the balance. However, it is not sure if he can turn up as an opener.
4) Faf du Plessis – Will Jacks
Faf du Plessis is also one of the stars whose future replacements might be groomed in IPL 2024. Will Jacks is in serious form and needs opportunities in IPL 2024. He would be the long-term replacement for Faf at RCB. Therefore, he is also on this list.
