The IPL franchises have tried their level best to give proper opportunities to young talents and rising stars of world cricket. However, not every cricketer receives equal chances. Here’s a list of the four unluckiest cricketers in IPL history.

    1. One of the unlucky cricketers in IPL – Baba Aparajith

Imagine being a part of MS Dhoni’s team in five seasons. One would think that the career of the player is set, but it was not the case with Baba Aparajith. The Tamil Nadu-based star shockingly did not get a single chance at CSK from 2013 to 2015 and then at RPS from 2016 to 2017.

    2. One of the unlucky cricketers in IPL – Ishwar Pandey

Fast bowler Ishwar Pandey could have been the next big thing in Indian cricket. He did a decent job for CSK in 2015, but after the franchise received a suspension, Pandey moved to RPS. He warmed the benches in 2016 and 2017 and never got another chance in IPL.

    3. Morne van Vyk

Morne van Vyk has a career average of 55.67 in the league. He scored 167 runs in five games for KKR in 2009. Morne was an explosive wicket-keeper batter, but just after one duck against Delhi in 2009, he never got another chance in the league.

    4. Doug Bracewell

Doug Bracewell made his debut for Delhi in 2012. He picked up three wickets, including one of Virat Kohli. Later in that game against RCB, Bracewell scored 12 runs off nine balls. Quite shockingly, Bracewell never played in the league again.
