    PSL 2023 is happening in Pakistan right now, and the league stage of the tournament will end tonight with a clash between the Lahore Qalandars and the Karachi Kings. The four teams that have qualified for the PSL playoffs this year are Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi, Multan Sultans and Islamabad United.

    Many fans of Pakistan consider PSL as the number one T20 league in the world. However, when one considers the salaries of participating cricketers, not even one league comes close to the IPL. Several IPL stars do not participate in other T20 leagues.

    In fact, the following five foreign players, who stole show in the PSL 2023 league stage, remained unsold at the IPL Auction.

    1. Martin Guptill scored a hundred in PSL 2023

    New Zealand’s veteran opener Martin Guptill was among the top performers for the Quetta Gladiators team. He played nine matches for QG, scoring 310 runs in nine matches. His highest score was 117.

    2. Tom Kohler-Cadmore

    England’s T20 star Tom Kohler-Cadmore has performed brilliantly in many T20 competitions. However, the IPL franchises have never bid for him at the auction. In this year’s PSL, Tom scored 309 runs in 10 matches.

    3. Jason Roy smashed a hundred in PSL 2023

    Jason Roy helped Quetta Gladiators pull off an incredible run-chase against Peshawar Zalmi. Roy set a new record for the highest individual score in Pakistan Super League by amassing 145 runs in one match. However, Roy remained unsold at the IPL Auction.

    4. Tom Curran

    Tom Curran’s brother Sam was the most expensive player at this season’s IPL Auction. Tom remained unsold, but he impressed the fans in PSL. The England all-rounder picked up eight wickets in five matches.

    5. Tabraiz Shamsi

    PSL 2023 proved to be a tough season for almost every bowler because of the flat pitches. However, Tabraiz Shamsi maintained an economy rate of 6.44. He played four matches and picked up seven wickets.
