New Zealand Legends will make their debut in the 2022 edition of the Road Safety World Series. The inaugural edition of this tournament happened in 2020/21, where India Legends became the champions while playing under the captaincy of Sachin Tendulkar.
Apart from India Legends, the tournament also featured Bangladesh Legends, Sri Lanka Legends, England Legends, South Africa Legends and West Indies Legends. Last year, Australia Legends pulled out of the tournament after just one game owing to the COVID-19 protocols, but they will make a comeback this year.
