1. Narendra Modi Stadium can host World Cup 2023 Final
The number one choice for this big game would be Ahmedabad’s new Narendra Modi Stadium. It is the world’s biggest cricket stadium in terms of seating capacity and recently hosted a memorable IPL 2022 Final match.
2. Wankhede Stadium can host World Cup 2023 Final
Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium hosted the 2011 CWC Final, which was the last ODI World Cup match on Indian soil. The venue has a great wicket and attracts a large number of fans. Mumbai will be among the top contenders.
3. MA Chidambaram Stadium
With the closed stands set to open up in Chennai, the MA Chidambaram Stadium will be a top contender to bag the summit clash of the World Cup 2023. Chennai is known to have a massive cricket fanbase.
4. Arun Jaitley Stadium
Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium has played host to some historic matches in the past. It should not be a surprise if the final match of next year’s CWC Final takes place at the Feroze Shah Kotla.
5. Eden Gardens
Eden Gardens of Kolkata hosted the final game of the 2016 T20 WC which happened in India. Although India did not play in the final, it got a strong response from the crowd. This could make the BCCI think of awarding another final to the venue.
