It was a bit surprising to see KKR end their association with Venkatesh Iyer before the mega auction. He is an extremely talented all-rounder, who has been an asset for KKR. Expect Kolkata to try hard to sign him at the auction.
3. Suyash Sharma
Another former KKR player to feature on the list is leg-spinner Suyash Sharma. He formed a fantastic combo with Varun CV and Sunil Narine. The defending champions should try to get him back in the squad once again.
4. Jofra Archer
KKR need an express pacer to replace Mitchell Starc in the squad. Jofra Archer can take that place. Plus, he also adds muscle to the finishing unit along with the evergreen Andre Russell.
5. Umran Malik
Another express fast bowler KKR can target for the new season is Umran Malik. KKR have shown interest in express pacers like Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Shivam Mavi in the past. Malik can be an excellent addition to the KKR outfit.
