    Changing countries in international cricket is becoming a new normal these days. Several Indian cricketers who did not get a chance to play international matches or even domestic games regularly have left the nation and switched to the United States of America.

    Recently, Netherlands player Michael Rippon decided to move to the New Zealand team, while Singapore’s Tim David and South Africa’s Morne Morkel have switched to Australia. Most of these players play all formats for both nations.

    However, there have been five such players in cricket history who played ODIs and Tests for one nation and then T20I for another country. Here’s a list of those five names.

    1. Ryan Campbell played cricket for Australia and Hong Kong

    Ryan Campbell represented the Australian cricket team in two ODI matches. He was born in Western Australia and played both of his ODIs in the year 2002. 14 years later, he came back to the international arena and played three T20Is for Hong Kong in ICC T20 World Cup 2016.

    2. Gregory Strydom

    Not many fans would have heard the name Gregory Strydom, but he played 12 ODIs for Zimbabwe in 2006. 13 years later, he switched to Cayman Islands and is representing them in T20Is these days.

    3. Andri Berenger

    Andri Berenger has a unique history. He was born in Sri Lanka but played ODI cricket for the United Arab Emirates. After playing for UAE in the 2015 World Cup, he moved to Qatar and made his T20I debut in 2021.

    Candacy Atkins was born in Guyana and she played one Test and 11 ODIs for the West Indies women’s cricket team. In 2019, she switched to USA and represented them in the shortest format of the game.

    5. Mahewish Khan played cricket for Pakistan and Canada

    Another women’s player to feature on the list is Mahewish Khan. She played for Pakistan from 1998 to 2001 in Tests and ODIs. In 2019, she made her T20I debut for Canada.
