1. Ramandeep Singh played just 5 matches for Mumbai Indians
Uncapped Indian all-rounder Ramandeep Singh was with MI in 2022. He played five matches, where he scored 45 runs and bagged six wickets. MI released him soon. This year, Kolkata Knight Riders have backed him, and he has scalped nine wickets and scored 108 runs at a strike rate of 200 in 11 matches.
2. Tristan Stubbs was first signed by Mumbai Indians
Tristan Stubbs received a surprising IPL deal from Mumbai in 2022. He could not justify his selection though and soon got released. This year, Delhi Capitals have backed him a lot, and he has responded by scoring 277 runs in 10 innings at a strike rate of more than 185.
3. Yuzvendra Chahal
Yuzvendra Chahal received just one opportunity to play in the multiple seasons that he spent with MI. He then moved to Royal Challengers Bengaluru and then to Rajasthan Royals. Now, he is the highest wicket-taker in IPL history.
4. Kuldeep Yadav
It might surprise a few fans but the duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav was together at MI at one point of time. They never got a chance to play together. Yadav went on to become a game-changer for Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals.
5. Nicholas Pooran
Nicholas Pooran was a part of the MI squad that won the IPL in 2017. The left-handed batter never played a match for MI. Right now, he is the vice-captain of the Lucknow Super Giants and among the top six-hitters in IPL.
