IPL 2024 will start tonight with a clash between CSK and RCB. 10 teams will participate in IPL this year. The top 4 teams will qualify for the playoffs. As always all the teams have signed some big names.
Since it is the Indian premier league there are 7 players from India in each playing 11. It is common to see even uncapped players in the playing 11 of IPL, but here are five popular Indian players who might not get a single game in IPL 2024.
1. Sandeep Warrier may not get a game in IPL 2024
Sandeep Warrier has joined Gujarat Titans as a replacement for Mohammed Shami. However Gujarat has some talented Indian pacers in there squad. So, Sandeep might have to warm the benches.
2. Amit Mishra may not get a game in IPL 2024
Senior Indian leg spinner Amit Mishra continuous to be with Lucknow in IPL 2024. Mishra played as an impact player last season but due to age factor he might not get a single game in this season.
3. Shams Mulani
Shams Mulani, the uncapped spinner, has been one of the leading wicket takers in Ranji trophy. However, due to the competition in Mumbai Indians team, may not get a single match.
4. Saurav Chauhan
Saurav came in to the limelight after his code 50 runs of 13 balls in a domestic match for Gujarat. But RCB may not be able to fit him into the playing 11 because of the fire power present in their squad.
5. Harpreet Singh Bhatia
Punjab Kings’ middle-order batter Harpreet Singh Bhatia played a couple of impressive knocks last season. PBKS may want to give him some chances, but he was quite inconsistent in IPL 2023.
