    5 popular Indian players who played ODI and T20I but never played Test cricket

    Test cricket is the ultimate format of the sport. A Test match normally lasts for five days, where both teams bat and bowl twice. The team that scores the most runs emerges victorious, if there is no clear winner in five days, the match ends in a draw.

It is the dream of almost every cricketer to play in the longest format of the game for their nation, but not everyone is able to achieve it. In fact, the following five popular Indian players played ODIs and T20Is, but never played any Tests.

    1. Robin Uthappa is yet to play Test match for India

    Robin Uthappa was a member of the Indian squad that won the ICC T20 World Cup in 2007. He has good records in first-class cricket, but the right-handed batter has never got a chance to play Tests for the country.

    2. Yusuf Pathan never played a Test match

    Yusuf Pathan came into the limelight because of his big-hitting skills. He won the T20 World Cup 2007 and ICC World Cup 2011 with the Indian team, but the fans never saw him in the whites for the country.

    3. Manoj Tiwary is yet to play a Test in his career

    Manoj Tiwary played 12 ODIs and three T20Is for the country. He is still playing first-class cricket, and it will be interesting to see if he gets a chance to play Tests.

    Pace-bowling all-rounder Vijay Shankar played for India in the 2019 Cricket World Cup. He has played in 12 ODIs and nine T20Is but is yet to make his debut in the longest format.

    5. Mohit Sharma

    Fast bowler Mohit Sharma has played for India in 26 ODIs and four T20Is. The pace bowler played for the country in 2014 T20 World Cup and 2015 World Cup, but is yet to don the whites for the nations.
