Iyer is known for his big-hitting abilities. While players like Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni have played for India in World Cups, Iyer owns the record for the most sixes in an WC innings, with eight sixes.
4. Most sixes in debut World Cup
Iyer was in no mood to allow the bowlers some easy days at work. He took them to the cleaners during the World Cup and finished with 24 sixes in the tournament, which is the highest by any player in his first World Cup.
