Shubman Gill is one of the top rising stars in the cricket world. The Indian opener is celebrating his 24th birthday today. Gill will make his World Cup debut at the senior level next month, but he has already been a part of the World Cup winning squad at the U-19 level in the year 2018.
Since winning the 2018 U-19 WC, Gill has not looked back. He has established himself as one of the biggest match-winners for the Indian cricket team. On his 24th birthday today, here’s a look at the top five world records held by the young Indian batter.
1. Shubman Gill scored 200 in ODIs at the age of 23
Gill joined the elite list of cricketers with an ODI double hundred earlier this year. He accomplished the feat while playing against the New Zealand cricket team. Gill set a record for the youngest double centurion in ODIs.

IPL playoffs put a lot of pressure on the players. Millions of fans across the world watch the matches, but Gill brought his ‘A’ game to the table and scored 129 runs in the Qualifier 2 match against MI.
