1. MS Dhoni played for ACC Asia XI
Back in the 2000s decade, the Afro-Asia Cup was a popular series. The best XIs from Asia and Africa played against each other, and Dhoni received a spot in the Asia XI team.
2. MS Dhoni played for Help for Heroes XI
In September 2015, Dhoni turned up for the Help for Heroes XI in a charity game against the Rest of the World XI in England. He scored a match-winning 38 in that game.
3. Rising Pune Supergiant
Dhoni has played for only two franchises in his IPL career. In 15 seasons, he has turned up for CSK in 13 of them, while in 2016 and 2017, he played for the Rising Pune Supergiant team.
4. Jharkhand
Jharkhand is the home state of Dhoni. He was born in Ranchi. Since it is his home state, he represented Jharkhand in the domestic arena. Interestingly, even Chennai Super Kings have played some of their home matches in Ranchi over the years.
