IPL 2024 will start soon, and ahead of the Indian Premier League, the number one T20 league of Pakistan – Pakistan Super League is currently underway. This league majorly features players of Pakistan, but there are also some overseas players.
Quite a few overseas talents of PSL have a deal in IPL already, but some of the PSL stars are unsold this season in the Indian Premier League. The following five names can return as replacements in IPL 2024 after a fantastic show in PSL.
1. Akeal Hosein can return as replacement in IPL 2024
Former SRH all-rounder Akeal Hosein is currently the top wicket-taker among overseas players in PSL. He has picked up 13 wickets in seven matches for the Quetta Gladiators, including one hat-trick.
2. Rassie van der Dussen can return as replacement in IPL 2024
South African star Rassie van der Dussen has lit up PSL 2024 with his phenomenal batting performances. He is currently the second-highest run-scorer with 364 runs for Lahore Qalandars, including one century.
3. Luke Wood
England bowler Luke Wood has been quite impressive for Peshawar Zalmi in PSL 2024. Wood has scalped eight wickets and eight matches and also bowled one maiden over.
4. Tymal Mills
Another England bowler to feature on the list is Tymal Mills. He has played for MI and RCB in the past. The left-arm pacer has accounted for six wickets in four matches for Islamabad United.
5. Reeza Hendricks
South African opener Reeza Hendricks is one of the most underrated T20 players in the world. He is the third highest run-scorer in PSL right now, with 304 runs in eight games for Multan Sultans.
