    India Legends will return to action in the upcoming Road Safety World Series 2022 tournament. The competition will start on this Saturday with a battle between defending champions India Legends and Jonty Rhodes-led South Africa Legends team.

    Australia Legends, New Zealand Legends, England Legends, Sri Lanka Legends, West Indies Legends and Bangladesh Legends are also a part of the competition. All teams have announced their squads, and here’s a list of six former Chennai Super Kings stars who will play for the India Legends team.

    1. Suresh Raina will play for India Legends

    Suresh Raina, who recently announced his retirement from IPL and domestic cricket, has confirmed his participation for RSWS 2022. He will play under the captaincy of Sachin Tendulkar.

    2. Irfan Pathan will play for India Legends

    Irfan Pathan never played a game for Chennai, but he was a part of the Super Kings squad in 2015. Pathan is one of the main all-rounders of the Indian team in RSWS.

    3. Harbhajan Singh will play for India Legends

    Former Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh will make his debut in RSWS this year. He is one of the top spinners present in the Indian squad.

    4. Rahul Sharma

    Like Irfan Pathan, former Indian leg-spinner Rahul Sharma warmed the benches at CSK. Sharma announced his retirement recently and will be in action in RSWS 2022.

    Former Indian batter S Badrinath was once the main batter of the Chennai Super Kings team. He will shoulder the middle-order responsibilities for India in RSWS 2022.

    Former Indian fast bowler Manpreet Gony was a part of CSK in the initial seasons. Having won RSWS in 2021, he will be keen to win another title in 2022. It will be exciting to see how Gony performs in the second edition of the Road Safety World Series.
