Ishan Kishan is a player who can single-handedly win matches once he gets going. He was strangely ignored for this year’s T20 WC after being picked for last year’s T20 World Cup. The wicket-keeper batter should return to the squad soon.
3. Prithvi Shaw should be groomed for T20 World Cup 2024
Opener Prithvi Shaw has the ability to hit boundaries from the first ball itself. India is in dire need of a player like him.
4. Sanju Samson
Sanju Samson has the ability to hit big sixes at will. He has good wicket-keeping skills as well and can be a great fit in the Indian team.
5. Kuldeep Yadav
Indian selectors have relied on finger spinners in the last two T20 World Cups, and it has hurt the team a lot. A left-arm wrist-spin bowler like Kuldeep Yadav could prove to be a wicket-taking option for the team.
6. T Natarajan
Left-arm fast bowlers could prove to be ‘X-factor’ in T20 cricket. Arshdeep Singh emerged as a match-winner for India in this year T20 World Cup, and if groomed well, T Natarajan could do the same job in 2024.
